Thank You All

CONCLUSION
Creating this blog has given me the experience or knowledge of learning more on the animals that were brutally abused.
During my research for the topic, I have read many articles about abuses not only in Malaysia but worldwide. The only question from the start till the end is only one, “Why is this abuse happening” which I personally could not answer.
There many organizations and NGOs doing their very best to reduce the rate of cruelty. These cruelties are not only towards the animal but also human beings. There are humans that abuse their own children, this people are heartless when they shower their anger and frustration to the ones that are incapable. In understanding the human’s behavior, this is all to show their way of being in power.
It is said that a normal human being has all the love and care for the others, I don’t agree to that statement fully as I feel that animals are more loving, caring, loyal, and protective and most importantly, they don’t harm humans unless they feel harmed.
No matter how much the good ones tries to protect or to make sure that animals are not harmed, cruelty cannot be stopped or reduced as it is on an increasing rate in Malaysia or any other countries like China, Bali and many more.
I have learned how to create a blog and use all the settings in it. I have also learned how to create traffic in my blog by letting my friends know on the blog that I have created and share it in social media like Facebook.
The blog has not only encouraged me to gain more knowledge but also to be more against towards these animal abusers. I hope that my blog has created awareness to the public to reduce the abuse rate among us. If you care, take action now.
Finally I would like to thank my lecturer Puan Azlina Jaafar of ATC Business School who have gave us this opportunity to evolve in this assignment. I would also like to thank all the students who have given full co-operation to make this assignment a successful one.

Actions to STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY

Try watching this video clip, ignore the part where it talks on racists and only focus on the facts of video. Was it necessary for the police man to shoot the dog when he definitely had other choices?

Have you ever thought that even horses are being tortured. If you have watched the video, you will know.

This video simply touched my heart and definitely made me tear. After watching this video I sincerely hope that your perception on animal torture will change and if you are one of them, I hope this will make you stop your actions.

There are basically few steps that can be taken in order to “stop” or “reduce” animal cruelty. It is not hard yet not easy but never impossible. Here are 8 simple steps that you may take or follow to help you be a better human in life.

One, become vegans or a vegetarian, why tell others to oppose animal cruelty when you still eat meat. Be serious by showing your dedication for it

Two, encourage others to join you. If you don't have anyone supporting you, no one will take you seriously. You can gain supporters by writing a petition.

Three, host protests and rallies. Rallies can be held anywhere. But be aware: of making sure that it is legal and approved by the government.

Four, support PETA. PETA is an association against animal cruelty. You can go to Peta2 and make an account there, where there are many other vegetarians and vegans willing to help the cause.

Five, start a petition. Print out a few pages of numbered lines, and on the first page, write "STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY". You can carry this wherever you go, and continually ask people to sign it. But be aware that you won't be able to show these in restaurants that may serve meat, because they will think you could destroy some of their business. A good place to get signatures is at a park or rally, because these are regular places for petitions.

Six, be against animal testing. Many people have the spotlight on eating animals, whereas animal testing is just as big an issue. You can buy or make buttons that clearly state that you're against animal testing, and give them out to others.

Seven, Inform others. Many people are unaware of the hidden cruelty which is taking place every day. It's your job to end this. Hand out pamphlets that inform people of what's going on, and what they can do to stop it.

Eight; writing a letter. Write letters to your Congressmen and Senator on certain issues that you feel strongly about. You can also include copies of your petition to show the work and effort you put into the letter.

These steps or tips may help or prevent you from making the same mistakes others have been doing. Its either you protect or destroy god’s nature.

If you are capable of loving your mother, your father, your sister, your friends, your lovers, musics, books, games and a lot more, if you can do that, try to have a little love for the animals because you never know, they may change your life.

Most cruelty happens when humans are trying to express their anger towards the animals, this is only because the animals are defenceless and trust the owners of other humans. If an animal is any way harmful to the humans, they may not be by your side.

If an animal can be this loyal towards another and human, they are for sure not your worst enemy.

I hope this last video on my post will create an awareness of why animals should not be tortured, as the video said not only stray dogs but all animals will only look for some love and understanding to live their life. If you cant give them love, it is okay, but dont torture them. Thank you.

How Torture is Torture?

As most of us already know, animal torture has been in this world for more than 1000 years ago, but how far can people go in torturing animals. The most frequent news about animals being tortured are either dogs or cats. This is not only in Malaysia but worldwide.

There was an animal petition on STOP ABUSING in 2012, this is to Provide Better Protection For All Creatures Great And Small, Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong announced that the out-dated Animal Act is being amended and appended with guidelines concerning pets is also timely as many pets are known to suffer in the hands of owners who either don’t care or don’t know how to care for their animals. It also states that the biggest victims of animal cruelty and abuse here are dogs, which lead a precarious existence in our society.

Here are few cases that recently happened in 2012 which was seriously taken into consideration.

Animals as 'sentient property'

Chelmsford Animal Hospital veterinarian Darren Stinson says Animal cruelty laws need to be reviewed. (Erik White/CBC)

Buddy, a German shepherd mix dog, was found on the side of a Sudbury, Ont. area road after sustaining gunshot wounds to the face by his owner in early 2012. He was rescued and treated at Walden Animal Hospital, but later died from heart failure. (Walden Animal Hospital)

While in Kota Kinabalu (KK) on JULY 1st, 2013 Monday, in a report states that a badly beaten stray dog while another lies dead on the cargo bed of a truck.

Not enough of all this cruelty, there are some who just goes over the limit of torturing. This video contains some disturbing footage, it is advisable that if you are not capable of handling it, PLEASE STOP immediately.

This video is a true example of the cruelty that has been happening among the humans. Whether or not it changes your thought on the subject matter but this should definitely give you a clear picture of what my topic is all about and that is if you had watched the whole video clip which is not easy I believe.

Upon saying that, there are many organizations that are trying to prevent this kind of cruelty. One of most is Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; Selangor, Malaysia (SPCA Selangor) is a non-profit animal shelter in Selangor that aims to help animals that cannot defend themselves. The SPCA Selangor was founded by Ruth Spiers in 1958.

SPCA Selangor receives almost 1,100 animals ranging from dogs to rabbits every month. Due to shortage of space and funding, and a 10% adoption rate, SPCA Selangor must euthanize many animals each year. The SPCA Selangor aims to become a no-kill facility by 2010.

SPCA Selangor also educates the public about responsible pet ownership, lobbies for animal protection and animal control laws, spays and neuters animals, and investigates animal cruelty complaints.

Currently, SPCA Selangor is working to persuade the local government to increase the fine for animal abusers. This campaign came about when a dog breeder in Cheras was found guilty of abusing 13 of his dogs and fined RM200. In another case, Tim, a Dachshund, had its chain wrapped so tightly around its neck that the chain had become embedded into the skin, causing it to suffer a bloody six-inch wound around its neck. Its owner got a fine of RM200 and was put in jail for one day. In response these and other punishments which SPCA Selangor felt were insufficient, SPCA came up with a petition and is appealing to the courts and the law makers to increase the maximum fine of RM200 and/or six months of imprisonment under The Animal Ordinance 1953 to a fine of RM100, 000.

This should be enforced worldwide.

This video shows the SPCA in Ampang, Selangor that has been supporting animals all ways.

Elsewhere this video is a tour for you to see how is the environment in SPCA shelter which many thinks that it is enough to hold on to many animals. Due to the number of animals being brought in daily, hundreds of animals like dogs and cat that without a home or adoption is put to sleep for the betterment of them and the shelter so that the young breeds can survive for adoption.

What are animals? Who are they and where do they belong?

Animals are creations of god just like human being; they are part and parcel in our lives one way or rather. There are many types of animals in this world but how far are they being treasured. What extend do you think the torture could be? Have you witnessed one?

Animals are everywhere in our daily life, some are kept as pets while some are wild in jungle or forest and not forgetting those in the Zoo who is pretty much tamed animals. Humans have different type of interest towards these animals, some gets excited with the wild ones like tiger or lions while some prefer the tamed ones like cats and dogs which can be kept as pets at home. Pets are most likely human’s best friend as they have some qualities that makes human’s life more meaningful. For an example, some have pets for companion, some to rescue those who are in need, while some pets are even capable of saving or helping a human in his or her daily chores. Governments and respected organizations have found their way to protect these animals but how far are the animals protected?

In this developing world, there are still humans with timid mindset and lives with hatred feeling towards animals. I call them unfortunate for not knowing the value of these beautiful creatures that belongs to the nature.
